Home network assessment and three-day trial
Recorded at the first visit, before anything was measured.
Every stage between what you pay for and what reaches the room you complained about. Measured, not estimated.
Measured on a cable at the router, so no Wi-Fi is involved. This establishes whether your provider is at fault.
Delay while the line is busy
Measured where you actually use each device, including at the thermostat and the television rather than in the middle of the room.
Several sockets were tested on each floor.
Each figure above is a single measurement taken on the day, in Mbps. They measure your house wiring, not your broadband: a device can never get more than your broadband line delivers. Only the floor carrying the trial system was monitored over three days.
A working system installed in your house, left running beside your own Wi-Fi, measured every hour and then removed.
The devices you named were moved onto the trial network for the three days and everything else was left alone. This is what the equipment recorded about them.
Exactly what was trialled, made permanent. Nothing here is untested in your house.
The assessment fee comes off in full. There is no obligation, and the report is yours either way.
